Office of Research Social and Postdoc Showcase

May 30, 2025 at 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm
Life Sciences Complex

Vice President for Research, Duncan Brown, and the Office of Research staff will host a Research and Creative Social on Friday, May 30 from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. in the Life Sciences Atrium. In addition to the social time with friends and colleagues, SU postdocs are invited to present their work in a poster presentation. It is a valuable opportunity for postdocs to showcase their research, engage with the SU academic community, and enhance their professional development. Presenters will be encouraged to stand with their poster for the first 45 minutes of the social. This is intended not only to provide internal networking opportunities but also to prepare postdocs for future faculty and industry positions by getting them to summarize their work for a general audience. The Office of Research’s Socials are come-and-go events, with no obligation to stay the whole time.
