The Office of Research Development is responsible for supporting Syracuse University’s proposal, research and faculty development efforts. This includes facilitating team-based collaboration around strategic funding opportunities, and managing the University’s internal funding competitions, including both internal grant programs and externally funded limited submissions.
The Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) assists all members of the University community with the submission of proposals for external support of research, creative, instructional, and service activities. The office is responsible for assuring that submitted proposals conform to sponsor guidelines and University policies, and if funded, that projects comply with sponsor requirements and applicable University policies and procedures.
The Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations creates partnerships between researchers and corporations and foundations to help fund and provide support for research projects. The office helps researchers connect with potential sponsors, offers grant-writing services, and support securing grants.
