Syracuse University researchers are encouraged to finalize invention disclosures as soon as possible, as OTT requires lead time to analyze disclosures and, where appropriate, pursue patent protection. This is especially important for researchers who will be presenting papers or posters at conferences this summer, pursuing corporate collaborations, or preparing intellectual property for disclosure in a pitch meeting with a prospective partner.
